Provides resources about diseases, medical conditions and other topics, including an A-Z Index of health conditions, and individual sections on such topics as Birth Defects, Environmental Health, Travelers’ Health and Workplace Safety & Health. familydoctor.org - Operated by the American Academy of Family Physicians (AAFP), a national medical organization whose members include over 93,700 family-practice physicians, family-practice residents and medical students. All of the site-information is written and reviewed by AAFP physicians and patient-education professionals.

Medem - A project of leading US medical societies, including the American Medical Association, the American Academy of Pediatrics and the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists. The site’s purpose is to provide "a trusted online source for credible, comprehensive, and clinical healthcare information, and secure, confidential communications."
MEDLINEplus - Created by the National Library of Medicine, the world’s largest biomedical library and creator of the MEDLINE database. Site provides an alphabetical list of Health Topics comprising over 300 diseases, conditions and health and wellness issues, links to MEDLINE searches, physician and hospital directories, online medical dictionaries, and consumer drug information available.
