familydoctor.org - Operated by the American Academy of Family Physicians (AAFP), a national medical organization whose members include over 93,700 family-practice physicians, family-practice residents and medical students. Medem - A project of leading US medical societies, including the American Medical Association, the American Academy of Pediatrics and the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists. The site’s purpose is to provide "a trusted online source for credible, comprehensive, and clinical healthcare information, and secure, confidential communications."
MEDLINEplus - Created by the National Library of Medicine, the world’s largest biomedical library and creator of the MEDLINE database. Site provides an alphabetical list of Health Topics comprising over 300 diseases, conditions and health and wellness issues, links to MEDLINE searches, physician and hospital directories, online medical dictionaries, and consumer drug information available.
NOAH: New York Online Access to Health - A variety of state, local and federal health resources for consumers. NOAH’s mission is "to provide high-quality, full-text information for consumers that is accurate, timely, relevant, and unbiased." (Note: Site also available in Spanish)
